WHAT MAKES ME GROW UP?

In October 2017 we released our first book!

A book meant for children and for the caretakers. An art-work containing illustrations which allows you to dream about childhood. A book “made by several hands”, “to be read by many voices”, within the family.

“What makes me grow up?” is the first book produced by the association “Caminhos da Infância”. Among the contributors we may encounter Sérgio Godinho, Rita Blanco, Paul Auster, Eunice Muñoz and Catarina Poeiras.

The illustrations are made by the painter Ricardo Paula. The book shares with the readers from all ages, some of the good and simple things representing childhood – listening to a bedtime story told by our parents, catching fireflies in the dark woods, overcoming the fear of the sea, sleeping in tight and neat sheets prepared by our parents… At the end of the book, you will encounter a blank page, ready to be filled by the children, with their own contributions, drawings and words: what makes them grow up?

The entire revenue from this book will allow us to continue with sleeves rolled up!

WHAT MAKES ME GROW UP?

OUR COLLECTION OF SUGAR PACKETS!

The coffee brand DELTA accepted our challenge and helped us disseminating short and sharp messages on childhood and happiness. Sugar packets used by grown-ups while drinking their morning coffee. They reached the whole country bearing this idea of childhood as an unique, precious and non-repeatable stage of our lives. In total, there were six different images, designed to be discovered and collected, within the family.
